…. and We Love It. "In Star Wars, the First Order is as powerful as it is because the leadership is exceedingly smart. Ideas like Snoke Force-linking Kylo and Rey, or Phasma buying off DJ, are two examples from the movies of them doing intelligently evil things. The latest episode of Star Wars Resistance takes things even further, though, finally paying off a season-long con in exciting fashion. All season the First Order has been trying to convince Captain Doza that he needs their protection on Colossus. Why? We don't exactly know. But they are pressuring him to decide the Aces and some droids aren't enough security on their own. Exceedingly smart? Are they watching the same movies I am? If anything, in the new movies both the First Order and Resistance are competing for the dummy of the month club. Between Darth Emo crushing things Willy Nilly when he gets slightly peeved and General Huxter screaming at everyone as if it's the last thing he will ever say on the one hand and ‘Let's all gather in the same bunker so they can kill us all at once' and ‘let's not tell anyone our plan as we run out of gas in space' on the other, I get the feeling that to the rest of the Galaxy, both sides are a cosmic joke that they humor like squabbling kids at Christmas while they happily grow rich off selling them new toys. |

i'm referring to the lead in paragraph, which talks about how intelligently evil the villains in the movies are. They may indeed be intelligent in the cartoon, but in the movies they are all dopes. |
