Looking for suggestions for 28mm USMC figures for the pacific. Who do you rate?

Another vote for Brigade -- they really did the unique uniform and gear right.

West Wind from Old Glory are good too.

Those by The Assault Group may be worth a look. I haven't seen or painted their USMC figures, but have painted up loads of their Japanese, and I found them superb. Easier to paint than the Brigade figures.

Once upon a time I did a comparison/review of the various USMC makers. I quite like a mixture of all though the gear and weapons of the Westwind are quite small and casting quality of Battle Honors has deteriorated over the years of using old moulds. Here are three from Warlord:

These are Westwind, Company B and Brigade Games:

These are Battle Honors, Brigade Games, Pulp

These are Assault Group, Brigade Games and West Wind:

Personally I like the sculpting style of Paul Hicks' so the Brigade Games are my favorites

Look at the Assault Group, Bolt Action, by Warlord Games, and Brigade Games. The latter are a little smaller than the others but mix well.
