"A re-imagining of one of DC's most beloved group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The DOOM PATROL's members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities – but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence – and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the DOOM PATROL is a band of super powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of Titans, DOOM PATROL will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never be same. One of the lamest comic book super groups ever. Brought back from the dead after having a huge bomb go off with the team standing around it. When can we have the Legion of Super pets series. |

My favorite comic series, but they all died (except for Robotman, if you accept the 2nd edition series) at the end of the original series. And I would not refer to Elasti-Girl as "scarred and disfigured". Who in the world is Crazy Jane? |

She's the Beast dude from Glass. But female. And based loosely on a real person. And not a serial killer. |

I only ever read Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol (and not nearly all of that either, maybe I should try to do so one day) so I'm familiar with Crazy Jane but not with Beast Boy, Elasti-Girl/Elastiwoman or, mostly, Negative Man (who was supplanted by a different entity in that run, tho one assumes with the same powers). If the series were based on that it could give Legion a run for its money. |

Beast Boy wasn't quite a member of the Doom Patrol, he was still a teenager with a bizarre guardian. Another not-quite-member was Mento, who was dating Elasti-Girl. |
