Title says it all. I'd like to buy some nice .stl files for some nice terrain features. I have no interest in getting a printer and doing the (steep) learning curve to size things properly and print them out nicely. I know I can send them to Shapeways, but there has to be something comparable closer to home. Does anyone have any experience with any 3D printing companies in the Golden Triangle area of Ontario? Thanks for any help or suggestions. |

Public libraries may have machines They do in Ottawa and people there to show you how to run them |

Last I saw, Kitchener Public Library did as well. There's also the concept of hacker labs. Again, KW has a "Maker Lab" and if I recall correctly, have a 3D printer. |

This company is in west-end Toronto within walking distance, sort of, of Islington subway station. objexunlimited.com I have used them for one simple item without any problem but not for more complicated items. |
