"Omega Flight - Heroclix models?" Topic

Hey all,

Looking to put together "Omega Flight" (from the Alpha Flight part of the MCU) for superhero gaming.

I'm stuck on Box and Flashback. Actually for Flashback I painted a couple of models from the Heroclix line as his "future men" (crouching figure in suit) but I can't remember what model I used as a basis for it (would have been from the early days of Heroclix). I need another one to be the "present-day" Flashback though.

And what could I use for the 1980s version of Box??

Any ideas???

Thing smoothed with putty?

I modded some Omega flight figures but it was several years ago. Some of the figures I used are probably rarer today and their may be better options what with so many more clix being done in the interim.

Thing #046 Rookie Clobberin' Time Marvel Heroclix with a lot of sanding down to remove the craggy skin detail, the head was sanded down to remove some of the Things brow ridge and nose as well as the skin texture again and some green stuff for the chin,

For Flashback
Upper torso
Intergang Agent #013 Rookie Hypertime DC Heroclix. The arms, head and lower torso were from other figures but I can't remember the specifics.

I greenstuffed Sasquatch from a hulk body :)

Though, Omega Flight was too much of a challenge.

Here's what I ended up with for Omega Flight:

Box is "Rockslide" with some greenstuff work and a repaint. The figure isn't as big as I'd hoped, but will do OK for now.
