I am looking for recommendations on painting modern CADPAT AR for afghanistan. Any suggestions?

I'm not pretending to be an authority on CADPAT, but here is a blog post for how I painted Full Battle Rattle's ISAF Canucks: link TL:DR; I used Vallejo Iraqi Sand, followed by a heavy brown wash, then another highlight of Iraqi Sand.

If you can find a "how to" for USMC desert MARPAT, they are very similar.
