Howdy, The campaign has restarted, the first iteration died when one of the players had to dropout. Now with two new, and motivated players. Map of Grumblstan
We are now on Campaign turn 4, and have three battles to resolve: (1) In the Valley of Death, Battle at VD-3 (2) In the Lush River Valley, Battle at LRV-4 (3) In the Valley of Misery, Battle at VM-5 The players are being polled about availability for miniatures battles. Battles not resolved in miniature will use the alternate system in the campaign rules (modified opposing die rolls). More to come … Ponder on, JAS

Howdy, There are the rules for running the miniature games, and then there are the scenario rules for the mini-campaign. In this iteration of the campaign, a Red Force summary and a Blue Force summary were prepared for the opposing players at the start of the campaign. The goal of this is to try and keep the specific mechanics of the guts hidden from the players, so their decisions are based on what makes tactical/operational sense to them. That way, both players get to discover how things work, as we go along. So far so good. Ponder on, JAS
