In preparation for a game I am planning to run at my local club next month I got together with a friend to try out a scenario based on the Battle of Pinhoe in 1001 AD fought just outside of Exeter.

This scenario is not the finished thing and it is planned to be played again next week to work out the right balance to make it interesting for both sides.

In addition, this scenario was a good excuse to get the dark-age collection out again and have some fun with Dux Bellorum.

If you would like to know more about the background to this battle and a brief look at our first test game then just follow the link to JJ's

Very good set up and stimulating scenario.
I like very much the idea of reducing the chance of recovering losses with a roll of dice instead of an automatic use of LP.
Our group is playing and like DB a lot and we have enjoyed several games.
We will give a try at your scenario.
Thanks for posting.
