So I registered my game, it's in the PEL. There's a set of instructions for getting a free GM badge - PDF link But the instructions don't work. The last 3 conventions I simply paid the $25. USD Anyone have any suggestions? Stephen |

FYI, getting a "free" GM badge for an HMGS convention has several requirements, including: --submitting an event by the PEL deadline;
--meeting the requirements for a certain number of hours and players for the game(s) submitted for the PEL; and
--valid HMGS membership through the date of the convention, in this case March 2019. If you feel that you have satisfied all the requirements and have not received an e-mail from HMGS saying that you have been registered for the convention, please feel free to contact HMGS directly, as was suggested above. The registration page says I'm already registered without doing the steps but it looks like if you follow them you do not pay I've printed mine out already. Rich. |

Stephen, You might want to check your messages for a "Thank you for registering for Cold Wars" e-mail from HMGS. That's what GMs usually get to confirm that their badges are in the system. Good luck. |

Confirming what 47Ronin said: that's what I always get as a result of submitting a game -- an email thanking me for registering. I don't do anything a a result, and the badge is always ready. |
