Imrie/Risley miniatures are no longer producing which is a shame and a great loss to the hobby.

Their figures on the Revolution, Civil War, and Napoleonic period were excellent, as was their artillery for those periods. The horses in particular were outstanding.

If anyone has any Imrie/Risley miniatures still in the packaging and doesn't want them, please let me know. My home email is Boulart198@yahoo.com

Very sad to hear this. They were lovely figures.

After Airfix, Imrie/Risley were the first minis I painted!

I have hundreds of I/R castings from the AWI and ACW periods. Several years ago, I bought out all the remaining stock from a local hobby shop that was closing.

Did the shop close? In 2002 his wife was still running it.

I first started collecting Imrie/Risely miniatures in 1967.

I had the great fortune of later meeting Bill and Helen Imrie. He was a real gentleman and she a gracious lady.

I have a couple of sets of AWI uniform cards that were sold
independently of the castings. These were never issued as part of the castings packages. They came in folders like sets of tourist postcards.

Heck, I have Hellanic catalogs from before there was I/R.
