That was on the first computer I ever used – a dumb terminal connected to mainframe. The magic word was xyzzy and there was a dwarf with a lantern who killed me a bunch of times.

Awesome use of bits! My last convention game included some CDs with wine corks and flock, painted black, for dungeon interiors. Making an entire dungeon out of them, however, is brilliant -- an idea that I am going to steal.
