Had some old green squadron putty.( in metal tube)..used to make bases for 20mm figs
Dried pretty quickly and could use for two or three figure bases
Are the new colors in plastic tubes the same stuff?
The tutorial on you tube for usage seems to indicate it's much thinner

Milliput seems to take a very long time to dry

Any help?

I'd say the other color Squadron putty is finer grain (white I think is the finest), but about the same drying time as I recall.

Miliput dried rock hard, whereas some of the Squadron putty seemed more liable to break or chip.

Is there a ratio for terra-cotta milliput to dry sooner?

They changed the formula on that a year or so ago. Guess the EPA made them ? The new stuff is pretty bad. I now use tamiya or AK modelling putty.

The old green squadron putty had toluene in it.
