Just a month now until the Williamsburg Muster. It's a great con for a gamer, and I'm looking forward to what games I will see. So it made me wonder, just what other games other attendees are hoping to see there. If you don't mind, what are you hoping to see at the Muster? Rob in VA |

Other than huge turnout for the Blood & Plunder tournament? I'm hoping to get into another one of Ron's 7TV or Pulp Alley games. He always does a great set-up and runs a fun game. There is always a group from Phalanx Consortium and others playing an aero racing game. Hoping to have time to get into that one this year. And of course the group of us that stay up late in the board games room playing random games until the wee hours.

Is there a vendors' hall at the Muster? |

Yes. Not large, but yes. Maybe 8-10 total. Cotton Jim is pretty much a sure bet. Silver Eagle usually comes with a limited stock list. Pretty much all their Star Trek. BV Traders will probably be there. Phalanx Consortium should be there. Thoroughbred Miniatures often comes. There is also a vendor, whose name sadly escapes me, who brings a BIG supply of dice, scenic bits, Reaper Bones, and assorted board games and modules. I'm probably forgetting someone. They also often have vendors who are selling off book collections or helping to liquidate an estate. Hope this helps. |

While I've often found games at Williamsburg Muster that interest me, it's become difficult when I bring along my young son (it doesn't help when the PEL is released a week before, if at all). That said, I tend to "bring my own luck" and schedule myself to run kid-friendly games that might appeal to interested grognards. This year that includes my obligatory Panzer Kids introductory free-for-all, a Pearl Harbor Wings of Glory game, and a Rohirrim versus Orcs Dragon Rampant game with 54mm figures. The dealers offer a nice selection, something to tempt everyone. The fellow "who brings a BIG supply of dice, scenic bits, Reaper Bones, and assorted board games and modules" is Harry from The Dragon's Horde in Staunton. Great guy, great selection. |

This will be the first time I bring my 10-yo daughter. She loves gaming, and we're going to bring my old Battlemasters set to run as an open game. If I see a lull when there are kids wandering around looking for a game, I'll break it out and get them playing. She will be able to run it after a couple of turns, with me looking over her shoulder. I'm hoping Danny Jackson will be there with his fantasy version of Wings of War; I saw him running it a couple of cons ago and it looks like the kids loved it. |

FYI, I believe that HMGS (East) passed along a reminder for The Muster to all on the HMGS mailing list. Well done, HMGS. Enjoy the games. |

Saw that notice…nice to see them support regional conventions! |
