Yes, no, yes … I like them, but only occasionally remember to use it. Probably would need to be under each pane in the comments area to have more utility. |

I didn't realize that they'd been added! Shows how attentive I am.
My first thought was that it might be a convenient and quick way to show appreciation for someone's post but then I thought it's probably better (at least for me) that I take the time to write something positive. After all, the person took the time to post something I liked; the least I can do is take the time to say thank you, or add to the discussion. |

Might be more effective if they show in the topic lists – Gives you an idea how popular a topic might be Perhaps a #read and #like? |

I have stopped using Facebook. No real persistent information, any voice is mostly lost in noise now, dirty tricks from FB to keep your attention. Huge time waste when I think long and hard about it. |

Wouldn't make more sense to have the like button on individual posts rather than the thread itself? That way we could give a +1 to specific posts without adding another post just to say "+1 so and so". |

I didn't notice the buttons either until ColCampbell pointed them out. Far left side, up at the top, three boxes down from where the title of the thread is shown. |
