Really? Why not? Some of the biggest tank battles in history!

Vigilant10 Jan 2019 9:32 a.m. PST

Just shows ignorance of the period. Great for armour and air combat. Difficulty in getting sources is an issue, but no worse than many other periods.

We're going to play a huge tank battle in "Patton Valley". M47s / M48s / Centurians & an occasional Sherman in a couple of weeks. What's not to like about the Indo- Pakistani wars?

Rudysnelson10 Jan 2019 1:23 p.m. PST

I agree with Vigilant an ignorance of military history. A lot of people speculate about a post WW2 war. Well here was one.

Of the wars on here, Polynesia tribal would have been my vote.

I've never gotten around to doing anything, but I was intrigued by the high altitude skirmishes and patrols the Pakistanis and Indians conducted, where the troops had to carry oxygen. I think having to factor in oxygen usage would be an interesting complication.

I've gamed this both for the ground and air conflict and it was quite interesting with a great mix of forces.
