Happy New Year, One and All!

A new Middle-Earth wargame project has started on my Middle Earth blog: The Ruin of Eregion (aka The War of the Elves and Sauron).

If it please thee, hie thee hence: link

Having just started reading The Fall of Gondolin last night, I'll look forward to more updates!

A great subject and good luck.

The Oathmark line may be a good source for Dark Age looking Elves.

DarthFozzyWig – I'm looking to drag out my Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales myself. I expect ME gaming to experience a resurgence, once the HBO/GOT series airs.

Louie N: thanks for the tip, I checked out the Oathmark elves on Northstar's page. Interesting "1066" look. I remember reading a comment from JRRT that he rather imagined the heroes armour in LOTR to resemble that pictured in the Bayeaux tapestry.

The Oathmark goblins also look good – no upright Uruk-Hai in the Second Age.

Thanks again, Gents.
