I prefer Union in the ACW and Scots in the ECW but I'll play anything. I don't like playing WWII Germans, and there are usually others who do. |

The only thing I've ever seen was years ago one person I gamed with didn't want to play as the SS in a WW2 game. We just switch him to regular German army. |

It must be because I am American but as far as the ECW troops go, they all look alike to me, so what exactly is the opposition to a given side about? Just close your eyes and pretend she's pretty. |

I wouldn't be very keen on playing Royalists in an ECW game. Then again, I wouldn't be very keen on playing Parliamentarians in an ECW game either. |

There was this player I once knew who was black and painted all of his armies as black men, including his entire confederate collection. I thought that was funny. Expensive and weird too…but funny. |
