You've been warned.

I binge watched the whole series On Demand. Now I have to watch it like normal people. One episode per week. Bummer.

Finally, Mickey and Ray have united over possibly the only thing they can agree on. Bridget has been taken by corrupt NYPD cops. (Which reminds me. This season is set in New York. At the end of the credits, they thank New York and the NYPD for their cooperation. Did NYPD or the city read the script???)
After getting beaten unconscious at least every other week, Ray is now on a mission to rescue his daughter, Whitey Bolger's granddaughter. Sorry. I meant Mickey's granddaughter.
They have been joined by Bunchy and Terry, who have also been beaten badly in bare knuckles fights. Terry's Parkinson's has come back. Maybe bare knuckles isn't the best therapy…
Darrell is also along, in relatively good shape.
Bridget's "fiance" Smitty shows promise in the stomping on fallen enemies category, but weed is affecting his thinking. What am I saying? His head has to be clearer than Ray's, Bunchy's and Terry's. He hasn't been getting beat up.
Son Conor is absent this year, mainly because the writers can't figure out what to do with him. He joined the Marines but he'll be back once he tests positive for the weed he just had with Bridget and Smitty.

The Donovans are one messed up family, thanks mainly to Mickey. Mickey is played by Jon Voigt, and is one of my favorite tv characters in years.
Susan Sarandon is marvelous as a politician who shows that women can be just as corrupt as men.

At last the season has taken on some steam after far too many pointless sub plots. Ray in analysis? Uh, that's been done.
Two episodes left and I'm hoping for ultra violence. If the Boys don't pass out from too many blows to the head.

One question. Why did Ray pour sugar on his wound when he pulled the glass out?

I hear it is a good show, but what does it have to do with gaming??

Winston Smith02 Jan 2019 2:29 p.m. PST

Read through the other titles on the Modern Media board, and then get back to me about suitability for gaming.

If Dear Editor can justify a Tango01 topic about cannibalism by dragging in Cthulhu, anything goes.

Seriously…
If a bank robbery or the OK Corral can be gamed, so can Ray Donovan.

Every time his phone rings, I tell him to not answer it.
