Happy New Year Everyone,

This week I have fought-out the penultimate battle in my Hyborian campaign. This was between Turan and Zamora. The battle was very suprising for me as Turan lost over half of its force while Zamora lost no troops. Not a sausage! The staggering defeat for Turan rested on Zamora's use of double ranked warbands which quick-kill spears. They obliterated the phalanx and lead to chaos. Additionally the Zamorans lived up to their reputation as sneaky tricksters by adopting a fall-back tactic that rendered the Knights of Turan incapable.

Oh and just to spice things up Conan also makes an appearance. Well he has to really.

The figures are by Minifigs, Prince August and Garrison and are 25mm. The spiders and Yara are Citadel.

Hope you like the pictures. More over on the blog.

Lots of fun!

One of my 2019 goals will be to finish some HotT projects.

Are those Garrison figures ?

Thanks for the nice feedback guys. The nice thing about HOTT is that I'm still working out the nuances. Always something new to consider.

Yes 20th Maine the Turan spears and knights are Garrison. The Garrison horses have a lot of movement to them and the raised spear of the knights is a typical Garrison pose.
