I recently expanded my Martian force for All Quiet on the Martian Front. The models for this game are so nice that when a Martian tripod is destroyed I like to have a wreck model to put on the table instead of just removing the destroyed tripod. So, since I was adding more tripods, I needed more wrecks! The plastic tripods are wonderfully easy to work with and making the wrecks opens all sorts of cool possibilities. I didn't have any wrecked scout tripods, so I made two. One fallen to the ground.
Another that was still standing.
And I did an assault tripod which had had its upper body and head blown completely off, leaving the legs standing alone.
For this one, the Martian pilot survived and is abandoning ship :)

Love these! That poor pilot is great. I always want to create bases with destroyed vehicles, wounded, etc., as markers, but rarely have the time/energy to get my main armies done, let alone the cool extras. Nice work! |

I must agree with darthfozzywig. They are great wreckage markers but I am such a slow painter that I doubt that I will ever be able to add like items in my projects. Would love to see a game posted. |

The Martians planned for millenia (or was it millions of years?) to conquer Bronze Age earth. Then they arrived in the Modern Age, or, worse, the Atomic Age. It's all about the timing. |
