Wow, that was a challenging build. Did you add any structure to the inside to help keep it together? I can't tell from the description or photos what is holding together two metal lampshades and a band of plastic. - Ix |

Admiral – I glued wide plastic ribs inside the lampshades first, then overlaid them with the plastic collar. Once the decorative card strips were place over the top of that to run the full length of the balloon, it was surprisingly strong. |
