In October Conwy Wargames Club put on a fun game using the 7TV rules. The Doctor, Scooby gang and baddy Moon Nazi's are drawn to investigate the mysterious happenings at the deserted oasis.

The story in pictures unfolds here:

The Scooby gang arrived in style

The undercover Moon Nazis not so much

The Doctor – well what can I say:

Looks like loads of fun. But then, with the Doctor, Nazis and Scooby and the Gang, how could you not?

What do you think of the 7TV rules?

Thanks for sharing!

I love the rules. They are very adaptable, and using the 2nd editions ready made character cards means you can put a game together easily and it works well with groups.

Very interesting. Do they have cards for Whovian characters like the Doctor, Daleks, Cybermen? I assume they'd have to be thinly disguised for copyright reasons, but you know what I mean. Might have to check these out! (I've played its sister game, 7th Voyage, several times, and enjoyed it very much indeed.)

Given that Crooked Dice took down certain of their figures when Warlord acquired the Who licence I very much doubt there's anything specific, but not difficult I imagine to create your own for private use.
In any case they kept their 7tv rules as a separate generic entity from their free Doctor Who miniatures game, also discontinued, and that's where such data would have been, not in 7tv itself.

Yes, it pays to download such games when you have the chance.

The 7TV Facebook group has a link to a design-your-own-card program. There are also all kinds of player-made cards in the files section of the group, including what Gone Fishing was asking about.

The have suitable cards that can be used that don't contravene copyright, and I used them for this game.
