Could there be a translation problem? I don't use the word "exciting" in relation to Star Wars outside the original trilogy.

Not sure it's anything Abrams is familiar with anyway.

I agree about Abrams. He has done a hatchet job on nearly everything he has touched, especially Star Wars and Star Trek. I don't go see any of his movies if I can help it.

If you can't beat it, don't make it.

While that may apply to art or story, it does not apply to revenue, especially in a growing population fed by corporations, where the opposite is true.

It seems like a deliberate attempt to destroy any back ground law to the Star Wars universe and so free themselves to release anything they want to the 10 year old's each Christmas labeled Star Wars.
