I am looking for some ships that might suit an Insect race.
Not really looking for the whole space bug with feelers thing but something that says to you Insect designed.
My current collection are GZG Full thrust ships so something in similar scale and sizes from frigate up would be perfect.

Monday Knight Productions Entomolians do it for me. Just Google Image them and you can see what they look like, and find your way to their site.

My Hive fleet is exactly what you're looking for!

I'll boost Drew on his Hive ships, as I have a fleet of these myself. Very insectoid and organic, and the glass plug infused into the larger ships makes for a very alien effect. They're easy to paint with minimal effort and still look great (in fact, mine are simply spray painted with a "hammered green metallic" can from Rustoleum (iirc), with little bits of acrylic painting to create engine effects and other details). The details are enough to stand out even with my single color approach, or you can pick out any details you want to accentuate. There's no wrong way to paint these!
They also match up just fine against my GZG ScanFed fleet, or even my small collection of Hasbro's "Titanium" die cast Star Wars/BSG ships.

I always associated the Valiant Alien ships as insectoid.

GZG Phalons or Saavasku?

Thanks for the help. I didn't know there was so much variety available.

The neat thing about the Valiant ships is they are kits and prime scratchbuild fodder.

One of the sellers on Shapeways have ships called Jujoban.

Also the Horrid from Ravenstar studios.

I find these two to be very insectoid.

A lot of the jujoban stuff looks like the predators from Pitch Black.
