"Baski Bazouk?

Not all readers will have heard of this troupe.

To be honest, I have only known her for a few years.

I was looking for a figure that Haji Halef Omar, the traveling companion Kara Ben Nemsis, could represent. Well, as I researched, I noticed the minis of the Perry brothers representing the Bashi Bazouk.

They fit perfectly, I thought…."

Only heard of them as a Haddockism. Neat minis!

Those are Strelets plastic 20mm Bashis, not the Perry (metal 28mm) ones, though both are shown on the linked page.

Those Strelets figures look great. I remember buying a box of Medieval Scots not nearly up to that standard. Hope they are not 3up Masters.

Hope they are not 3up Masters.

They are certainly not straight from the plastic production line: the first figure has a ramrod made of copper wire, and the gun barrels on the rest of the figures seem to be from steel or copper wire.

Glad you like them boys!.

I'd like a set of these figures in 1/32nd scale, please.
