I wonder if the Matchlock TYW 15mm figures are the same/compatible with the well known ECW range. I ask since on the Minifigs site, they are listed under different headers but both under Matchlock miniatures. The TYW 15's are listed under "15mm various periods" whereas the ECW have a special link.

Size is pretty compatible, but styling is of course less animated on the Minifigs. The link blelow will give you some visual comparison.

If they are both listed as Matchlock then yes they are perfectly compatible. IMHO so are the Minifigs ranges in terms of infantry size although their horses tend to be bigger than the Matchlock ones. Style is different but fine on the same tabletop.

Thanks Morning Scout for the comparisons.

Several of the figures appear in both ranges. Perfectly compatible

This is helpful. I have ordered some sample packs from Dave at Caliver and I shall see for myself. I had fun over the weekend doing some conversions with 3 identical Imperial lancers. I removed part of the feather helmet plume from one, then with a bit of greenstuff added a saddle bag to another, and modified the armor a bit. Will post pics when finished painting.
