I have a handful of 28mm 7YW figures from Front Rank. Looking at some of the other ranges listed below, are they compatible?

1st Corps
Elite Miniatures
Warlord Games
Crantara Miniatures

Front Rank are still available.

No, those are typically not compatible if by that you mean to mix different figures in the same unit. FR figures are in the "heroic" style which means pudgy but they are very nicely sculpted. 1st Corps & Elite should be able to intermix but I'm not sure about the sizing of the last two.

Thanks, yes I was looking to mix figures from different manufacturers.

Don't forget the lovely Crusader miniatures 7YW range link

Foundry also has a nice range of 7YW Brish Army figures; these are chubby minis and expensive (unless you grab their Christmas packs offer) and I think worth having a second look.
Cheers

Front Rank are a bit smaller than other lines, but I mix and match them all for maximum pose variety, even Galloping Major which are taller than most.

Cran Tara miniatures are properly proportioned, so are tall and thin compared to all of the others. Very Nice Castings! Front Rank are trolls in tricornes and dont go well with anything!
