For any Audible listeners, there is a new 5-hour Amazon Original adaptation of "The War of the Worlds", with Jeff Wayne re-scoring the soundtrack.

I'm about 1/2 of the way through. Great production values and acting. I must be getting old, though – I can only take about 30 minutes of 70's Prog Rock at a time.

Free for Audible members as one of your 2x monthly Amazon Originals, 1 credit or $21 USD otherwise.

But it's only the old guys who even remember what prog rock is.

Prog has not aged well…

Depends on the band and not the genre. For me ELP has not aged well. However, Gentle Giant still kicks butt.
