I recently came across a set of the Pz8 Wargaming Rules Collection. They are Two Page rule sets that cover themes like WW2, Cold War, Sci-Fi, and Naval. The set I have was last updated in 2012 but any further mention of these rules seems to have disappeared. Does anyone use these rules? Does anyone know if the rules are still being supported off some website? Any information about these rules would be appreciated, thanks.

The designer has left the hobby, I believe.

Oh, that's sad. Hopefully someone still plays Pz8 and can comment.

I us a version of his WW2 rules for my Eastern Front games, but with modifications of my own.
We like them, they are easy enough to use and give a decent feel.

I'm attempting to get in touch with "Deserter" aka Panzer8 via TMP PM and his last known email at yahoo.it

The Weebly and yahoo groups have gone to God, but there is a live nabble forum and BGG entry that I'm trying to revive and collect what I can scour from the Internet Archive/Wayback Machine.

The yahoo group is where the cooperative design work for pz8 took place..

Panzer8 setup a weebly page and blog which is accessible via wayback links available at the two sites below.

The Blog has a lot of pz8 AAR material and the last copies of the various pz8 rules before the weebly site was taken down were captured by the IAWM and are similarly findable

The Nabble forum is at

The Pz8 BGG entry is at

If I'm unable to contact panzer8 and recover and clean up nabble,
Discussion in the game's BGG forums may be they best bet and I'll concentrate on rehoming there.
PS thanks to Bill for his advice re PMíng Panzer8/Deserter

We play the air combat and www2 divisional rules.

The rules exist, and tbh, that is all you need in terms of 'support'.
