"There has been a lot of debate as to if Cersei Lannister is really pregnant in the seventh season of HBO's ‘Game of Thrones‘ and thanks to scripts of the series surfacing, we've learned that the character actually is! This isn't a ploy by the current ruler of Westeros to manipulate her twin brother Jaime to stay loyal to her but is something which has been revealed to be true from multiple references.

In fact, it wasn't meant to be a ploy in the scripts at all! When Cersei first tells Jaime the script reads that "She nods, it's true. [. . .] Her happiness is contagious. They get another chance at family. This time with no one standing in their way."

This scene isn't the only moment a pregnancy is referenced either as it is revealed that Tyrion later figures out the secret which she is keeping. The fact that he discovered this at all was just due to his cunning intelligence and not a slip by Cersei…."
