Very reminiscent of the cover illos of one of the "Battles and Leaders" reprints. Probably a period print.

Lee has written at least one other book for that publisher. It was on Chickamauga (where he's a park ranger). It was very well written, so I'm sure this upcoming volume will also be excellent.

Just an old Courier & Ives picture. They're in the public domain. Hippocrene Books used some of those when it published my books back in the 90s.

White wrote a nice review of my next-to-last book, River of Death, in Civil War News (May 2018), so guess I'd better get his.
