I am considering doing some flying Kroot like the ones in the link below (from dakkadakka). The person I am linking to used skourge wings on his kroot, which look good, but they are $3 USD each at bitz sellers. Well, with 30 kroot to put them on, this would get espensive fast. I wonder if anyone else out there knows of a source of plastic toys, cheap figs, bits, etc, where you can get decent (not great) avian wings for about $1 USD each. (what I am looking for)

The cheap toy set called Dragon Toob (sold in tubes at mass merchants) might be worth tracking down:
At 5 pairs of wings per tube, more cost wise,, and you may be able to pick them up cheap on Ebay. |

Try Reaper bits? Most of their angels have separate wings, if you want feathered wings. Holy crap, did Reaper stop doing bits with the shift to Bones plastic? Batwings, I think the Dragon Toob is probably the cheapest option. |

Have you considered snagging the wings off inexpensive heroclix?
Their singles can go for almost nothing, you'll have to figure out which cheap commons have wings though. |

I am of the sure and certain opinion that it is physically impossible to glue wings onto any sort of miniature whatsoever. |
