Funny how the Russian guy turns up every time.

Something almost Monty Python about him. I love him……

All Russians are good, comrade Deadhead.

Apparently he's a bonus figure and if you buy every pack you can collect the set.

A bit like those Man In Flight coins you used to get with every 4 gallons of Shell petrol. They didn't make anyone buy any more petrol in total, but they may have persuaded some billy bunters to buy all of what they did buy from Shell.

I presume the idea is that if you want both Crazy Ivan and Landwehr, you'll buy Strelets rather than Airfix.

The Airfix French line infantry include 44 hunchbacked goblins in every pack.

Brilliant. Love it.

I had often wondered when we saw this chap appear in every release. Now I know! thanks

Obviously not reviewed here yet but I have enjoyed reading about plastic figures from decades ago, such as the Goblins in the Airfix French Line

If starting over would love to have them.

Now that I had missed. What you will see is a review of the entire Russian set from the single figure that comes with each new release…en masse.

Pauls Bods, thanks nice one.

I think the time and work I put into painting any single figure means I simply cannot economise on the model itself, it is lunacy otherwise, but I must stop at this point……

OK let me risk this. They are not as good as German metal figures in this scale (even if scale is not the word)

OMG, this is crossposted to the Plastics Forum. I retired yesterday, I am no longer (or soon will be) contactable thru the UK GMC………

@4th

Man In Flight coins! I remember my Dad collecting those for me – back in the days when a gallon of two-star was 60p!
