Crazy as I am, I am thinking of running a convention scenario based around the Soviet combat trial of the T-100, SMK and KV-1 prototypes at Summa, Finland during the Winter War. For two days, these three tanks road out into the most heavily fortified section of the Mannerheim line and wreaked absolute havoc. The only problem with this oddball scenario is the minis… does anybody know where I might find a 15mm model of the T-100, SMK and the KV-1 with the dual-cannon turret? Has someone done this on Shapeways yet, perhaps?

You can get a T-100 from Heer-46. I bought one for a friend and it turned out to be a nice model. Not sure about the other two.

"most heavily fortified section of the Mannerheim line" is not much in the department of fortification.

Ours was a poor and vast country so even the "most heavily fortified sections" were very very minimal… :/

The KV-1 you may be able to kit-bash.

Thanks, that Heer-46 model does indeed look quite good! I also managed to find an SMK on Shapeways: link

No clue about the KV-1 prototype, but I think Gerard is right. It looks like I could cut the mantlet off the Zvezda KV-1 1940 and put it on a plastic Battlefront KV-1, add the 45mm and we should be in business! Thanks all.

You have to love that both the WWII Germans and Russians played with the idea of making such big targets … evil grin
