You were asked – TMP link

You can go back to Napoleonic times and fight in any battle you want. You will not be harmed nor change history. Who do you serve under?

17% said "Jackson – New Orleans"
12% said "Davout – Auerstadt"
11% (tie) said "Napoleon – Austerlitz" and "Wellington – Waterloo"

Waterloo, but I could do without the battle itself. Give me the morning to wander around and see what caps the Rifles and Light Infantry were wearing, see did the Scots Greys all have cap covers and moustaches, check out any Netherlands uniforms especially artillery and Carabiniers, you get the picture.

I might be more use after the battle but I am used to anaesthetists, IV lines, suction, diathermy and asepsis. Would not be a patch on my contemporary colleagues (though I might try to persuade them that blood letting ain't the best idea)

Give me an umbrella too, plus a pair of binoculars (no way am I risking crossing the valley with my level of French language) and an autograph book.

Interesting draw in third place. Perhaps you could use Blucher as the tie breaker…..
