the Klingon's violent society could be a perfect parable for the U.S. in 2018,

Ummm…

I suspect it maybe a negotiating tactic by Dorn in regards his fees for turning up in the Picard spin off ;)

That's almost a familiar quote….

….but this has to get in the queue behind Captain Sulu (it's still not too late….!)

Years and years too late. But there is merit in the Klingon way. Could we encourage the Klingon custom of having subordinates do in superiors who aren't up to the job, and are embarrassing themselves and endangering the mission?

And when we're done with Trek, could we export this custom to Star Wars?

If you had asked me just a while ago if I wanted to see Worf again, I'd have said yes. Now, I'm just not sure. I don't think I could handle seeing worf jammed into that godawful DIS Klingon makeup.

Love to see Worf… in any serie ….

Didn't Sulu have #MeToo issues?

"Didn't Sulu have #MeToo issues?"

Yes, but it was kinda glossed over rather quickly.

vicmagpa129 Nov 2018 12:55 p.m. PST
