Having missed Fall In! 2018 I have to ask are the dates and location for Fall In! 2019 known yet?

If not, has HMGS East committed as to when they would know?

I ask as it looks like I might be overseas again the the fall next year.

sigh..

It looks like Cold Wars '20 is not settled.

I believe they are deliberately waiting until after this Cold Wars to make the final decision on the Host.

Bowman;
FI will be a couple of miles from the house.

Bring a can or two of Tim's, get free room and board.

Too bad for your Ti-Cats this year. I was hoping Ottawa would have pulled it out over the Stamps. No luck for me there.

And I can tell you the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge is taking reservations for the 2019 even already…

Thanks for the kind offer Eric. But I'm happy to bring some Tim's coffee to you. Exporting Canadian culture and all that.

I also will be home based for this one. I can not justify the overnight stay. I am deciding how I am going to do this still. I may just work on Friday instead of coming up. Sunday may not be worth it either.

Fall In has always been my favorite convention because, in general, the weather isn't too extreme. I know we had snow a few years back, but most of the time it isn't bad.

For 2019 though, I am skipping it. The area is way too congested to have to deal with. Add in the bad reviews of the Radisson, and I have to pass.

FWIW, I just spoke with the Radisson about FI reservations. They quoted a $139 USD per night room rate, 1 night charged at the time of reservation and cancellations have to be made nlt 30 days in advance. The Radisson is supposed to be the less costly of the 2 integral hotels. I didn't bother calling the other one.
