Influenced by finding some old Imperial Guard figures this morning and then seeing Kromlech's Iron Reich Orks, I wondered if anyone has used Konflikt 47 for some gritty (-ier) 40k games.

Not sure the system could cope with the Xenos, but for some Imp Guard (not AM, showing my age) and Ork action, then maybe…..

Beyond the Gates of Antares is a better system.

IMHO the new 8th Edition 40K rules beat the crap out of Konflikt 47 as a set of rules so I guess my answer is no & if anything I plan the reverse.

we recently played out a 40K themed game using basic Bolt Action rules and added in elements of Konflict 47 to account for the Walkers and other "odd" vehicles and unit type. We didn't worry about points cost , basically it was a case of looking at the unit ( vehicle or troops ) and applying appropriate BA and K47 stats to them. the game worked extremely well for us and was allot of fun. The game also allowed for massive Ork and Imperial Guard armies as we played on a 5 x 12 table full of urban ruins, it also reflected some of the ranges being on a larger table . A very good game with everyone getting into the spirit of the moment .

oh I should also add we actually play allot of Gates of Antares using our 40K armies as substitutes, the Tau drones work extremely well as ,,,well drones for everyone . This ruleset works rather well but is not as popular in my area.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I certainly think my Tallarn Raiders could be Freeborn Domari, so I may give GoA a go.
