I have just read 3 Para by Patrick Bishop on Afganistan 2006. I thought it an interesting book with lots of insights. It talks briefly on the MOWAG Eagle used by the Danish Contingent. Some had .50 cal. Does anybody know if they were also fitted with smoke discharges in this theatre, that was not mentioned in the book and it's use in the book would not require their use.

Danish Eagle 1s in Helmand were modified with an extended front bumper which had smoke dischargers attached. If you happen to be in Copenhagen the Danish Army Museum currently has an exhibition on the Danish involvement in Afghanistan.

Wow, I assumed they were the later ones being 2006 not the Humvee chassis. Thanks
