It is an interesting view of the new rules.

Although it is a little disappointing that he was under the impression that there were no other rules for this type of gaming or people actually playing coastal forces games.

That said, I'm looking forward to seeing what they've come up with.

I thought this was interesting from the video, a German Siebel ferry -

I went looking, and found similar versions available as 3D prints in 1/285th and 1/300th scale -

Wonder if Warlord has their own Siebel model in the works?

At Warfare last week the guys on the stand said that Warlord were planning to release models of every vessel in the rulebook.

And yes, I was amused talking to them when I said I'd been wargaming coastal for nearly 30 years and that I had hundreds of models in three different scales and if all seemed like a great surprise. Listening to the interview gave me flashbacks to when I was writing Action Stations in the early 90s :) Still, I'm looking forward to this, a new naval game is always welcome!

David were the guys on stand involved in the design of the game? Most Con Bodies frankly know little or nothing about what they are selling. I would frankly be surprised if the design staff didn't know you and your work.

They led me to believe that they were, yes. Mind you, I did have a funny "you don't know who I am, do you?" moment at the show but that's another story :)

Well, you guys will probably have to get used to characters like me coming over here now, after we've just "discovered" WW2 Coastal Warfare gaming! :)))
