We are now at map 4 and game 6 of the campaign. The Japanese drive continues and we find the Australians defending a precarious position with a high risk the Japanese will get around to their rear and block their withdrawal. This calls for careful play by the Australians, as the consequences of losing here could be dire. The full AAR is here Map 4 Cut off the Retreat

Nice report and great looking table. Good to see a close run campaign coming down to the last couple of games. |

Lovely to see this. Especially since I'm a CoC player based in Malaya! |

Nice report and great looking table. Good to see a close run campaign coming down to the last couple of games. Thanks. This is an intriguing campaign and requires some very nuanced play across all the games by the Australian player. Any Australian looking to stand, fight and beat the Japanese every scenario will find the campaign ends rather quickly and the Australians are not on the winning side. In this sense it has a real campaign feel where players are constantly looking at the long game and where throwing away your troops lives without a tangible gain is both wasteful and useless. Rightly the campaign will punish those who think that way. Feels historical. |
