"British Rifles 'Pin up'" Topic

I recently finished a commission for a British Rifles 'Pin up Girl'. She's from a recent kickstarter, with a few Historical 'Pin ups' in their range.

I normally regard such figures as absolutely daft, but this is a real tutorial in figure painting. I simply could not believe she is 28mm.

The highlighting of the worn-look Rifle green, her hair, the finest line of white edge to the collar and cuffs.

The Baker I would add to frankly. Needs a chestnut ink varnish and some brasswork for the butt and the plate, the trigger guard and the muzzle. The additional colour would transform it (even more! It is all quite incredible work)

Another one of mine – they were lovely castings and I knew Rob would make a great job of it. A cliche, but the photo doesn't do it full justice. I collect all manner of 95th-related stuff and it makes a nice display piece.

Folks, if you do follow the link click twice on the images. They really do stand up to highest magnification. The highlights on the creases in the shoulders and upper thighs….not easy on Rifle Green…..also see the redhead highlights in ultra high mag.
