I seem to recall several years ago a very nice range of 40mm Ancient Greek figures (perhaps Spartan Games?). IIRC, it included a very nice cyclops and Minotaur.

Does anyone know if these are still around?

Failing that, does anyone else do a larger scale cyclops or minotaur? I'm using 28mm figures but want something a bit more imposing.

If you like a Harryhausen cyclops:

I had liked these. I just repaint them (but you can use them as is). and sometime you can get them less expensive and AC Moore or Michaels and use a 50% off coupon

I used a couple of Grenadier Minotaurs for my 40mm opponents – they look a little short next to the tallest 40mm figures, but as Minotaur 'minions' they are OK

Then a Grim Reaper Cyclops.

Thanks chaps. I do like the Harryhausen-style cyclops but can't seem to find that Grim Reaper one. Does anyone know how tall the Reaper version is?

Crocodile Games' have two different Cyclops in their semi-fantasy "Wargods of Olympus" range that are something like 54mm (or larger), if you want them BIG!
