Isee youve done the front figs in skirmishing order, and the remainder in close order. wouldnt they all be able to skirmish? Or about 50% of them? Nice paint job, by the way ..

Yes, they would probably all be able to skirmish…. but I suspect he's not made of money

Worth following the link where he explains that they were constrained by having to fight in line formations….bit like 95th at Waterloo.
