We have a "Sharp Practice" board and a "Principles of War" board and I've never played either of them. However, we have no board for DBA, which has probably been played by more gamers in its various editions than any other miniatures game in the history of the hobby. This seems really strange to me.

Just no activity since the rules forums were separated from the other forums!

I can't see any of those boards on my ancients or medieval boards page. What is wrong? Maybe a settings issue?

They are on the Rules Forum Pages. Probably right at the bottom of your front page view, if you've got them selected!

The Rules Forum never really got off the ground.
Nobody ever goes there.

ALL regular forums or boards are started by someone making a Poll Suggestion.
Then, in all good time, the Editor puts up a Poll. If such a request for a new board gets 50 votes, it's made.
Note that the proposal needs 50 votes of "I would support this board". Negative votes mean nothing. Only votes if those who would support it.

Such boards don't just appear automatically. Support must be shown.

To answer the question in the title, it's because it never had a poll that earned 50 Supports.
Or it may have already had a poll that didn't get any support.

Sorry for my ignorance. I have found them now. I didn't even know that they existed before now. Thanks.

I wouldn't even bother with them. As you can see, nobody uses them.
Start a Poll Suggestion to have a DBA board out in the open, not cloistered away.

Coopman, those of us who know about them never remember or bother, so don't feel bad.

If you want to talk specifically about DBA, you are better off going to the Fanaticus site. The rules forum was a failed experiment.

OK – will move on to Fanaticus. Thanks.
