Anyone that uses Taiko for Samurai warfare, how do you handle built up areas such as villages and small shines? The rules are a little vague on this subject. |

I use 15mm figures based 40mm wide with 5 figs to a base (nominally). |

Used to play it fairly often but haven't played it for a couple of years. Never tried battles in built up areas though. I really don't there were many battles inbuilt upareas. |

Not as much 'in' a BUA but if you have a village on the board is it impassable, difficult terrain, etc? |

I would simply classify them like any other terrain – difficult or very difficult as their situation suggsts. |

That's what I figured. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I'm planning to make some BUA based approx 4 – 6" in an irregular diameter (village, town, temple, or shrines) and I can just put them together to form larger areas. I'm collecting for the battle of Domyoji so I'm building some if the kofun tombs as well. They'll be easy – just plain impassable. Thanks for the advice. |
