"Colours 2019" Topic

On 13 October the Newbury & Reading Wargames Society voted to go ahead with Colours 2019. Once again the venue will be Newbury Racecourse and we now have confirmation of Saturday, September 7th as the date of the show.

Application details for Trade, Demonstrations and Clubs will be announced shortly, though 2018 contact details should still be effective.

On a personal topic, having directed Colours for four years I am no longer the primary organiser for the show as I feel that it is important for other members to gain the confidence and operational skills necessary to run the show which in turn I believe to be key to the continuance of the NRWS. I remain a member of the NRWS Colours working group and will direct any feedback passed through TMP to the relevant working group member. For those who have worked with me in previous years, my contact details remain unchanged.

Thanks for all your brilliant work over the last four years. Simon Miller and I have had a fantastic time putting on games at COLOURS, and it has become one of my two favourite shows of the annual round in the UK. A great venue at the Racecourse, Newbury is a delightful location with lots of good restaurants and pubs and a very welcoming atmosphere. Already looking forward to next year!

I fully expect that the NWS and the Wings of Glory Aerodrome will both stand to and do their duty in 2019 if you'll have us :)
