My friend Iain McDonald of Funky Skull Games has launched a new kickstarter to fund a new gang of 28mm figures for the excellent Street Wars NYC skirmish game. The new gang is the Mollies, an all-female gang featuring some really great digital sculpts. The Kickstarter has already (after just over 24h) reached its funding target and early bird deals where you can get a gang for £18.00 GBP are still avaialable for the next 3 hours.

I just placed an Early Bird Pledge while ago; it showed up on the KS "other stuff you might be interested in" header.

I picked up a PDF of the rules last weekend- I felt them well worth the money- love the art style.

The rules are really good and always give a fun game. Iain is also working on a couple of expansions. One is for 19th Century gang fights with rules to handle bigger fights and the other is an adapaptation for street-level superheroes like the Ninja Turtles or Daredevil. I've helped with a couple of playtests of these and they are shaping up well. In our games we got a good feel of the Turtles using their abilities to move around or use the terrain to enhance their fighting and the Foot Clan being hordes of mooks controlled by Shredder until things go so bad that he has to intervene.
