"Brutal?" I was calling the new carpet "Ugly Moderne." I also like the bit where the pattern used in the rooms extends out into the hallway. But give them their due, they really have modernized all the guest rooms and fixed all the residential corridors. Who knows? Some day they may decide the "Fall of Berlin" look is outdated, reopen the restaurant and clear the drywall partitions out of the gaming areas. Someday. |
