Last night our club fought Chattanooga in 6mm scale on a 8'x6' tabletop. It was a great looking game with 5 players (3 Union, 2 Confederate) using Altar of Freedom. A short AAR with some photos of the game is available on the AoF blog, including a recap of who won the action! This is a tough one for both sides…Grant has a very large and somewhat unwieldy army to coordinate, while Bragg has far too large a front to defend with his limited manpower.

That's a lovely looking table.

Great setup. I really like Altar of Freedom. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to fight out the major battles on a reasonably-sized tabletop.
